About Jennifer London Lacker

Jennifer Lacker is a certified appraiser, conservator, and collections consultant. Based in Stonington, Connecticut she is particularly attuned to New England collections with expertise in fine art, antique furniture, and decorative art objects. She has a B.A. Cum Laude in art history and museum studies from William Smith College. At Boston University she earned a master’s degree in American and New England Studies Program. 

In 2006, she completed the 2-year certificate program in Art and Appraisal Studies, taught by the American Society for Appraisers at the Rhode Island School of Design. With 30 years of experience in the art and antique market she operates with a deep knowledge of the many layered market levels and niches. As such, Ms. Lacker offers accurate, up to date values and advice for her clients. Over the years she has worked for many institutional collections; The Aga Khan Collection for Islamic Art and Architecture at M.I.T, The Museum of the China Trade, The Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Historic New England, The John Trumbull House, The Lyman Allyn Museum, The Denison House Museum, and the Captain Nathaniel Palmer House/Stonington Historical Society. She also has experience working with many regional auction houses and is currently a representative with Eldred’s Auctions of East Dennis, Massachusetts. 

She continues to stay current with the latest technological changes in the marketplace and well as collections management. Ms. Lacker regularly attends academic conferences, workshops, and personal property seminars to remain current for her clients. Her experience has created a wide network of appraisers, dealers, and conservators from which she can draw to benefit her clients.
