All periods of antique furniture repaired, reglued and made whole. Finishes are evaluated to conservation standards of treatment. Fading and toning can be corrected. Wood and veneer losses restored and blended. Surfaces are amalgamated with French Polish. A variety of wax formulas used for final polish.

Painting Conservation

Evaluation of a painting’s condition and damage or loss and treatment determined. Deteriorated varnishes can be removed to reveal the original luminosity the artist created. A reversible, stable finish is a applied.

Works on Paper

Prints, pastels, watercolor and gouache works on paper are evaluated and treatment proposed. Foxing and molds can be mitigated. Creases, tape marks, mat burn and losses may be treated and reversed.
